Date: Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September, 12.30pm to 6pm
Venue: Botanic Gardens
Belfast’s scenic Botanic Gardens will mark the turning of the seasons with the return of Autumn Fair on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September.
Among the highlights will be the Northern Ireland Honey Show, hosted by the Belfast & District Beekeepers Association. There will also be prize-winning autumnal blooms, bonsai trees and stunning floral art displays. A range of food and craft stalls will be selling local produce, and there will also be lots of fun family activities.
Time to get your produce ready and get involved.
You can download the Fair Schedule, Honey Show Schedule and Registration / entry form below.
Our next meeting will be held on zoom on Monday 9th September @ 7.30pm
We are delighted to be joined by Mr. Ramon Reinders from the Netherlands.
Ramon will be telling about their response to the Asian Hornet threat and practical measure that have been undertaken (e.g. app developed, spring trapping, tracking, removing of nests etc.). This talk should be of particular interest given the rise in cases in England and the very real risk posed not only here in Northern Ireland, but the entire island of Ireland.
There will also be a panel discussion on winter preparations and Q&A.
Thank you for your inquiry! We will get back to you as soon as we can. Grania Mackie (Association Secretary)
