BDBKA is one of the oldest beekeeping associations in Northern Ireland, with over 200 members from Belfast and outer lying districts.
The association aims to promote good beekeeping practices among its members and to provide a forum for beekeepers to meet and exchange information. We meet on the second Monday of the month from August to April in the Glenburn Methodist hall, South Belfast. We also hold a number of activities during the summer months. We have two apiaries at which we can host a limited number of members' hives.
